“Preparing Tomorrows Leaders Today”

                                                                                                                             16th March, 2020

Dear Parents and Students,

We wish to encourage each and every one of you and your family to continue being safe during this time, as your continued health and safety is of utmost importance to us.

As a progressive educational institution it is our subscribed view that the learning process for our students MUST continue even at this difficult time. To that end, we wish to announce that we will be making use of available E-Learning platforms.

For High School, each teacher will have a Google Classroom, for each subject and grade level. Within the classroom, our teachers will be posting assignments, collecting assignments and posting virtual links for students to join live sessions.

For our Primary division, we will also utilize google classroom. This will however be complimented with an additional feature. As you know, our primary school follows the ABEKA curriculum. We are partnering with Abeka to use and make available to our Primary Students, completely free of charge, the ProTeach online streaming lessons until we can return to normal in class operations. We will provide a step-by-step guide to ProTeach and teaching resources for parents and ultimately the students of Primary Division. ProTeach coincides with the Abeka curriculum for every subject and grade level and is taught by master teachers. This online streaming option allows our individual students to continue their education while at home during this time of absence.

Please note that our teachers are committed to and will continue to keep Gradelink current with lesson plans, forecast, student registration and grades.

Finally, tomorrow Tuesday March 17th, and Wednesday 18th March, 2020 @ 9:00am, our teachers will be on campus. The intent and purpose of this will be to allow for the collection of any books or materials needed for the online learning experience. During this time students accompanied by a parent or guardian, will be allowed to come in and collect said books and or material needed to complete assignments. This exercise is scheduled for 3 hours ONLY on each day and as such we encourage all to take advantage of this opportunity.

In closing we acknowledge that this is a trying time for us a nation. We therefore would like to thank you for your continued cooperation and support. Our administrative team and school as a whole, stands ready and willing to assist our students in whatever way possible, as we seek to ensure that our students receive as much assistance as possible during this time of difficulty.

Sincerely Yours in Education,

Mr. S Kirby Samuel
Principal
